Dodgers Trade For A S Josh Reddick Rich Hill

L.A. sent a trio of minor-leaguers to Oakland in the deal.

The Dodgers need help with a rotation that’s been hit hard by injures. The move to get Hill, though, is a risky one. He’s currently on the DL with blister issues on his pitching hand.

Reddick, meanwhile, is hitting .296 with eight homers, 28 RBIs and a .368 on-base percentage while battling through injuries this season.

Reports say adding Reddick could facilitate the Dodgers moving Yasiel Puig before Monday’s 4 p.m. ET deadline.
