Don’t Toy With Me, Miss Nagatoro 2nd Attack has been slated for a broadcast date sometime in Winter 2023, having been announced initially at Japan Expo which was hosted in August. The upcoming series’ new visual reveals three new characters.

The new characters in Don’t Toy With Me, Miss Nagatoro include Hayase Nagatoro’s older sister, who is referred to as Big Sis Toro, voiced by Yoshino Nanjo (Karen Kannazuki in The Fruit of Evolution), Hana Sunomiya, voiced by Sayumi Suzushiro (Uruka from We Never Learn: BOKUBEN) and Orihara voiced by Kaori Maeda (Chie in Fruits Basket).
Don’t Toy With Me, Miss Nagatoro follows the daily exploits of the unassuming, nerdy and timid high school sophomore, Naoto Hachiouji, who is trying to live out his high school days without standing out too much. However, his hopes are dashed when; while in his happy place, the school library, Naoto encounters a certain freshman who takes an interest in him. Unlike a regular meet cute, the delinquent Hayase Nagatoro and her friends start viciously teasing Naoto to the point of tears. When he thinks it can’t get any worse, Nagatoro begins to take an interest in her brand-new toy.
Stripping him of his name, his peace and his quiet life, Nagatoro leads a daily onslaught of teasing, bullying and suggestive comments against Naoto; who is from thenceforth only referred to as “Senpai” (sometimes “Paisen” to antagonize him even further). Despite the rough treatment Senpai now comes to expect from his juniour and her gyaru friends on a daily basis, something about Nagatoro is oddly adorable. A strange relationship begins between a sadistic high schooler and her wimp of interest – but is that all there is to it?
The second season of Don’t Toy With Me, Miss Nagatoro will be changing hands in production from Telecom Animation Film to OLM (ODD TAXI), with Shinji Ushiro in the director’s seat. The first season aired in the 2021 Spring season from April to June 2021, running for twelve episodes, with Crunchyroll simulcasting the series as it aired in Japan. Don’t Toy With Me, Miss Nagatoro 2nd Attack is set to arrive sometime in January 2023.
