Donald Trump Calls Out Cubs Owners For Trying To Stop Him

The businessman took to the social media medium Monday morning to call out the owner of the Cubs.

Here’s some more information to clear up what Trump is talking about, via USA Today:

For clarity’s sake, Marlene is the wife of Joe Ricketts, but Joe doesn’t have a lot of involvement in the day-to-day operations of the Cubs. Thomas Ricketts led the bid to acquire 95 percent of the Cubs in 2009 and is viewed as the owner, although the family shares interest in the team through their family trust.

Virtually all the money the committee raised in January came from Ricketts, whose family owns the Chicago Cubs.
